Mike Wilda, P.E.

Mike Wilda founded Simply Structural, Inc. in 2002 with the inspiration to make a difference.  He is hands-on with his team of engineers to create the best solution and construction documents for your project.  With the best interest of the client in mind, he strives at solving problems and giving personal care to each and everyone of the jobs he takes on.

Mike graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1997 with a BS in engineering and an MBA.  After obtaining his professional license, he launched Simply Structural, Inc.  Mike is continuing to design with increased passion.  His feelings of responsibility to client satisfaction and project excellence continue to drive his determination to become a recognized leader in the structural engineering community.  While with Simply Structural Inc., he has designed numerous office/warehouse projects ranging in size from under 10,000 ft² to over a million ft².  Additional project types completed by Simply Structural Inc. include apartments, assisted living facilities, restaurants, custom homes and schools.  He has found that working as a small company allows him to stay in close contact with clients and owners, react quickly to changing conditions and produce high quality, organized construction documents.

Personal:  I enjoy mountain biking, fishing (anywhere, anytime), snowboarding and spending time with my children who are growing too fast and starting to beat me at each one of these passions of mine…
